What You’ll Do

  • Discover problems in the market through communications and interviews with customers, recent evaluators, and other industry channels

  • Serve as the voice of the customer when working with stakeholders, engineers, project management, and leadership to capture business requirements for features and development tasks

  • Ownership of lean-agile requirements and execution process, working directly with one or more engineering teams to document, manage, and track successful deployment of specific software features

  • Manage and order the product backlog, working cross-functionally to ensure that it accurately reflects current priorities and business value

  • Partner with engineering and design to ensure that all Stories support a creative and effective design & collaborate with the engineering team to facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning
     

  • Present new product functionality and enhancements to stakeholders in regular sprint reviews and demos

  • Support the QA team to perform internal acceptance testing on features and bug fixes before they are released

  • Manage The Product Tech Stack - take ownership of tools selection, integration, and maintenance of their team’s tech stack. Establish best practices for usage, and ensure team members are using their tools effectively

Who You are

  • 2+ years of working experience as a product manager in a scaling environment - a must

  • Proven track record of releasing products and features that meet and exceed business requirements

  • Successful history of building deep product knowledge and understanding of new customers and industries
     

  • B.Sc in computer science/engineering or related fields

  • Previous experience as a software developer - a must

Deep understanding of user interfaces

  • Deep understanding of user interfaces, mobile and backend technical concepts

  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment - an advantage

  • Team player as well as a great independent owner and contributor

  • Excellent written and verbal English

  • Driven by curiosity and creative problem-solving. When you see something broke, you can't help but work to fix it

  • A can-do attitude - a must

  • Keep customers top-of-mind

  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), impeccable listening skills, and attention to detail - a must
